I don't know jack about politics and I absolutely hate talking about it, but Barack Obama just got elected as the 44th President of the United States and something tells me good things are about to come.

Ok, enough about politics.

Today I cooked sinigang for the first time. And it actually turned out okay. Wow. I can do this. I'll be experimenting with adobong baboy and tinolang manok next time, plus I got a bunch of sitaw left and it's waiting to be adobo'd.

I'm looking at Vegas hotels and shows for New Year's. It's gonna cost some money, but I really don't care right now because I think it will all be worth it. Some very familiar folks will be coming to visit this Christmas and New Year's and I want all of us to have a great time together. It will be our first Christmas together in 5 years. ;)
